Choose the best tour for your family (Best of Sintra For Families, Sintra Away from the Crowds or Sintra & Cascais Most Wanted) and add the most suited transport (train or private van). Which ever tour you choose, you will learn about the legends and myths that have made the History of Sintra, but also the great authors and international artists who have passed and left their marks there... Itinerary:
Guided tour of Sintra, departing from Lisbon, including a visit to the historic village of Sintra and guided visit to two palaces and its gardens: Quinta da Regaleira (Palace & Gardens) and National Royal Palace. There will be free time for a light lunch in the village center. Includes traditional pastry tasting (1/person).

B - Sintra - Away from the Crowds
Itinerary:
Guided tour of Sintra, departing from Lisbon, including a visit to the historic village of Sintra and guided visit to two palaces and its gardens: Monserrate (Palace & Park) and National Royal Palace. There will be free time for a light lunch in the village center. Includes traditional pastry tasting (1/person).

C - Sintra and Cascais - Most Wanted
Itinerary:
Guided tour of Sintra and Cascais, departing from Lisbon, including a visit to the historic village of Sintra and Cascais. This tour includes guided tour of Pena Park and Palace (outside visit) and walking tour in Cascais, including guided visit to Santa Marta Lighthouse or Condes Castro Guimarães Museum. There will be free time for a light lunch in the village center (Sintra). Includes traditional pastry tasting (1/person).
Visited Places: Sintra (historic village center), Pena Park and Palace (outside visit - please note that this tour does not include visiting the interior rooms of Pena Palace). Cascais (historic center), Santa Marta Lighthouse or Condes Castro Guimarães Museum (in Cascais).

2nd - Add your Transport (Train or Van)

Starting/ Ending Point: Rossio Train Station in Lisbon
Nearest subway stations: Restauradores (blue line) or Rossio (green line).

Walking Distance: Approx. 5 km (3 miles)

Starting/ Ending Point: Hotel/Apartment (Lisbon)
This option adds the possibility of doing a short stop at Cabo da Roca (the westernmost point of mainland Europe) and driving the panoramic road by the beaches near Cascais on the way back to Lisbon (visit to Cascais not included, unless you book Tour C). This option requires confirmation of availability for the transport hire.
Recommended age: 6+ (car seats available for younger siblings)

Dates and Scheduling:
These tours are available all week except Sunday. Tour C is available all week except Sunday and Monday.
Starting time at 8:30 or 9:00am.
Reservation:
Contact us and let us know the tour and the transport you choose and when you wish to do it. We will get back to you with confirmation or alternative dates within 48 hours.
An advanced payment of 50% of the total cost of the tour is requested upon reservation. The remaining amount must be paid until two days before the date of the tour. For the private transport hire (van), the complete payment (100%) is requested upon booking confirmation.

Discount for more than one tour ... 10% off the lowest price program
Price includes: Guide, entrance tickets to the mentioned palaces and gardens, learning materials, additional transport, insurance, local pastry (1/person).
Price does not include: Lunch, personal expenses, entrance in monuments not mentioned in the program.
Note: these programs are subject to changes arising from the introduction of new rules for access and visitation to the indicated monuments (under the responsibility of the Municipality of Sintra or Parques de Sintra).
